Alex Mackie
BSc (Clin Sci), MA (Health Sci – Osteopathy)
Alex grew up in Taranaki New Zealand where he studied Exercise Physiology before completing his Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) with a Master of Osteopathy at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia.
Alex has completed post graduate studies in Craniosacral Therapy, Biodynamics, Obstetrics and Paediatrics and has a special interest in pregnancy and babies.
Over the couple of years he has really enjoyed treating elderly patients who live on the Dorrigo plateau. Building relationships has been a highlight of the work and helping people on their way to health and wellness across the lifespan.
Alex excels in working alongside sports people where osteopathy supports individual performance or recover from injury.
When he’s not working with his patients, he finds loads of joy being in nature, cycling and spending time with his family.
